W. Kyle Ward B App Sc Optom (Hons) Grad Cert Oc Ther
Kyle completed his four year optometry degree, with 1st Class Honours, at the end of 1990 at the Queensland University of Technology in George Street Brisbane. Since then Kyle has completed further studies with specialised training in ocular therapeutics and is now endorsed to prescribe therapeutic agents to help manage ocular disease. Kyle commenced working in private practice in Southport in late 1990, moving to Tweed Heads South in 1992 to continue his career, before opening and practising at the current practice, Kyle Ward Optometrist, in 1996, where he still currently practises. Kyle keenly enjoys many aspects of optometry, with particular interest in ocular disease and eye health.
Roy Green
Roy is a certified optical dispenser, and partner of Kyle Ward Optometrist, having worked continuously in the optical industry for the past 50+ years. Roy commenced practicing in Africa, emigrating to Sydney in the early 1970's, before ultimately moving to Tweed Heads in 1974 where he has continued to undertake his profession. Roy is involved in spectacle dispensing, frame and sunglass selection, spectacle lens fitting and spectacle repairs. With almost 40 consecutive years in optics in Australia, Roy is able to match your optical needs with the best optical technology has to afford.
Nathan Groenewege
Nathan, a partner in the practice, is a qualified optical technician. He brought his talents to Kyle Ward Optometrist shortly after the practice's opening in the mid 1990's. Prior to this Nathan worked in the optical industry at another optical practice on the Gold Coast. Nathan is involved in many aspects of the daily running of the practice including spectacle dispensing, frame selection, lens fitting, frame purchasing and spectacle frame repairs. Nathan will match your lifestyle and visual needs with the appropriate lenses and frames. Nathan's knowledge of lens types is unsurpassed, and is always up to date, ensuring that our patients benefit from, and receive the latest in lens technology.
